SMS marketing terms

By opting in you agree to receive marketing text messages from Real Pet Store at the number you provided. Message frequency varies and is typically 2-4 messages per month. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Most UK mobile plans include incoming texts at no cost, but your network's charges may apply.

To opt out, use the unsubscribe link included in every message. Our messages are sent from a sender name that cannot receive replies, so replying to a message will not stop them. You can also email hello@realpetstore.co.uk and we will remove your number.

How we handle your phone number

If you opt in to text messages (via our signup form or at checkout), we collect your mobile number and a record of your consent, including when and where you gave it. We use your number only to send you marketing texts about offers and news and to manage your preferences.

Our texts are sent using Shopify Messaging, provided by Shopify, which processes your number on our behalf to deliver messages and track opt-outs. We don't sell or share your number with anyone else for their own marketing.

We keep your number until you opt out or ask us to delete it. After you opt out, we keep a record that you opted out, so we don't text you again.

You can email hello@realpetstore.co.uk to ask for a copy of, a correction to, or deletion of your data. You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
